What’s next:

  • First step is to contact me with your wedding date and location and if I am available we can get together for a obligation free meeting. If you feel I am the right fit for you then you can confirm by paying a deposit. This is also when we book in our planning meeting.

  • The planning meeting is good to have early on so we have ample time to create your ideal ceremony. This is where we get to talk about your love, the flow of your ceremony, what is important to you both and what you want your Ceremony to feel like.

  • Legally our planning meeting has to be at least 31 days prior to the ceremony date as you will need to fill out your ‘Notice of Intent to Marry’ by that date. I will also need to sight your passports or original birth certificates and we will complete all the compulsory legal requirements.  This may all be completed via long-distance also, so no worries if you don’t live locally.

  • What are the most important aspects of your wedding? I like to ask couples to feel into five words that describe your day. They become the essence of the ceremony we create, the golden threads that tie all of the elements together, so that when you look back on your ceremony in years to come, these five words fill your heart with gratitude and bring back memories.

  • The Ceremony design stage is where we collaborate to bring all of these elements together. Once you are incredibly happy with your ceremony draft and you feel prepared we sign off on that till the big day. I usually aim to complete this one month prior so you have plenty of space and time.

  • Rehearsal is next if you require one. One rehearsal is included in the service I provide. If you require more than one rehearsal we can arrange that for an additional fee.

  • Pre- wedding offering. Your wedding is very special moment in life that can also be quite stressful at times. A valuable add on that I offer is a meditation session on the morning of or the day before your wedding. This gives you some time and space to be more relaxed, present and connected for your ceremony.

  • Wedding day - I usually drop in to see you where you are on the morning of the wedding to complete some paperwork and check in with you. At your chosen ceremony location I arrive 1 hour prior to set up the P.A. and make sure everything is ready and wonderful.

  • You get married.
All paper work will then be lodged with Births Deaths and Marriages in your state.

Whether you are choosing a wonderfully lavish large wedding, eloping in the wilderness at sunrise or having a ‘legal only’ marriage at your kitchen table, all of these details may change. The best thing to do is contact me so we can get started on creating your ideal ceremony.
